Terms of Sale

The Kitchen Drawer File is a brand of {{LLC_LEGAL_NAME}} ("we", "us"), a {{GOVERNING_STATE}} limited liability company. These terms apply when you buy from kitchendrawerfile.com. By completing a purchase, you agree to them. We wrote them in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, email help@kitchendrawerfile.com.

Who can buy

We sell to customers in the United States only. Prices are in US dollars (USD).

What you're buying

Our products are digital files (PDFs). Nothing is shipped.

  • The Kitchen Drawer File: 32 pages, US Letter.
  • Parent Edition: 14 pages, US Letter.
  • The bundle: both files.

The write-in spaces are fillable. They work in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader on a computer, tablet or phone. Some web browsers and Apple Preview may not save what you type, so use Acrobat Reader if you want to type and save. You can also print the files and fill them in by hand. They print well in black and white.

Delivery

Your download link appears on the page right after checkout and is emailed to the address you enter. The link keeps working, and you can always ask for a new one. If it doesn't arrive or doesn't work, email help@kitchendrawerfile.com and we'll send it again. Please save a copy of the file once you download it.

Price and payment

Every price is shown in USD before you pay. Every purchase is a one-time payment. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Payments are handled securely by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number. Any sales tax that applies is shown at checkout. The charge appears on your card statement under our brand name.

Refunds

You can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase, for any reason. Our Refund Policy explains how it works.

Your license

Buying a file gives you a personal license to use it for yourself and your own family. You can:

  • Download it, type in it and save your filled-in copies
  • Print as many copies as your family needs

You may not:

  • Resell, share, upload or post the file, in whole or in part, where people outside your family can get it
  • Give it away as a bonus, a client gift or part of another product
  • Use it in a business, for example with clients, without our written permission
  • Remove our name or copyright notice

We keep the copyright in the files. Your purchase gives you the license above, not ownership of the text or design.

Not legal, financial, tax or medical advice

The Kitchen Drawer File is a personal organizer, not a legal document. It is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. It does not replace a will, power of attorney, healthcare directive or advice from an attorney, accountant or doctor. Do not write passwords, PINs or full account numbers in it.

Nothing in our files, on our website, in our emails or in our messages is legal, financial, tax or medical advice. For those questions, talk to an attorney, an accountant or your doctor.

Our AI host and our assistant

June, the host in our videos, is AI-generated, and we label her that way everywhere she appears. Our checklists are written and checked by our small team. The assistant that answers messages on Instagram and Facebook is automated AI, and it tells you so. Ask for a person anytime.

What you write is yours

We never see what you type or write in your file. It stays on your device or on paper. You decide where to keep it and who can get to it.

Limits on our responsibility

We provide our files "as is." In plain words:

  • We don't promise the file fits every situation, state or family.
  • We're not responsible for decisions made using the file, or for information in it that is missing, out of date, lost or seen by someone you didn't intend.
  • To the fullest extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Some places don't allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

Accessibility

We want our site and files to be easy to use for everyone, including people who use screen readers or larger text. If anything is hard to read, use or fill in, email help@kitchendrawerfile.com and we'll help, or send you the content in another format.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted when you bought is the one that applies to your purchase. The date at the top shows the latest update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of {{GOVERNING_STATE}}. This doesn't take away any rights you have under the consumer laws of the state where you live.
